MORE INFO ABOUT SECURITY
security.yahoo.com/ | Follow-up to "am i doing something wrong...?" post from last night? (Yeah, I know this is against community guidelines, but I thought I'd take a shot.)
Last night there was a post by a 16 year old girl who complained of not having a boyfriend/date and getting rejected and she put up 3 pictures of herself asking if she was doing something wrong. It was memorable because the first of her three pictures she managed to keep her right eye still but turn her left eye inward so it looked "goofy" as she said. I really wish I could remember her username.
Yesterday I couldn't reply because for the first time ever I used up my daily quota (poking fun at people posting silly questions), so I marked it as "interesting" and waited until today so I could answer her question. Unfortunately, she seems to have deleted it, but I'm strongly compelled to at least TRY to answer her question, even through this illegal post.
Anyway, if you're reading this young lady: I regrettably spent a lot of time yesterday afternoon letting off steam by satirically responding to posts from insecure pre-teens and teens posting vanity photos of themselves. But of all the ones I actually bothered to check the links of pictures for, your pictures struck me the most. Blew me away, really. (Enough to try to reach out to you the next day through the mire of anonymity that is the internet, if that's any indication of my sincerity).
I'm a completely heterosexual female in her late 20s, but I have to say even with those 3 somewhat grainy pics, you're absolutely gorgeous. With your wavy reddish-brown hair, heart-shaped face and striking eyes, you have a classic beauty that's not often seen -- and certainly not on this forum.
You don't have the "popularly pretty" look that's, well, everywhere. Because it's popular. You don't have that celebrity/porn star look that so many young women seem to strive for.
You have a beauty that looks like you're born to wear ballgowns and attend galas with style and panache. You have a classically and elegantly pretty look that's hard to find, like a rare jewel; like the subject of paintings.
I honestly was blown away by it -- as well as by the couple of guys who responded and thought you rated around a "5" (they must like the busty blonde look). I would've rated you an 11.
In about 2-4 years, you'll grow a little more into your looks that will refine and you will have men tripping over themselves to be near you. And by the time you're in your mid-20s, you'll have developed an inner maturity and confidence about yourself that will shine through and make you drop-dead gorgeous. I'm certain of it.
Again, sorry about the inappropriate post, but if someone knows the person I'm referring to, I'd love if you could pass this on to her. I don't think she has a single reason to be insecure about her looks and I really want her to know that. I'm really not sexually/romantically interested in her in the slightest, I just recognize beauty when I see it. | I think I know who you are talking about & I answered her question too rating her a 10 because of her unique beauty but I can't remember her username either....
I just wanted to let you know that asking this question or stating this statement was really nice of you and i hope you find who that was...
okay---i will(: | I need some help with an (ex) friend problem? This has really been bugging me and I need opinons and help!
Sorry for length..please read full..
Where to start...
My friend set me up with the most amazing guy ever. We had been going out for about a month and I had to go away to visit family for like a month and a half. My friend who set us up began flirting with me boyfriend, she even called me up to ask me if I would be mad if she went out with him (while we were still going out!!) I got angry but hung up the phone and needless to say I cried. My boyfriend had a lot of relationship stress going on, a cute blonde chasing after him and a busty girl chasing after him too, unimpressive me was left. So he didn't want to hurt me and put the relationship on pause. After about a week he apologized completely and told me I was the only one for him. He then told me what was going on, my friend (blonde) told him if he broke up with me she'd grind with him and he immediately answered no (she's not even allowed to date and she's well into the teen years) So I came back to him to my relief and school started. She and I were still friends (don't know why????) but she always flirted with him, she even told me not to tell him I love him!!!! She started a few fights saying I spent too much time with him (I had balance) and finally I told her it was done, I was through with the drama. She ignored me for a week, then when I least expected it..got one of her friends to apologize for her!!! I told her no way and she couldn't even say it to my face (wouldn't matter anyway). Now she was being a B****. She got another of her friends to tell me my boyfriend was making out with her in science class (yea the teacher wouldn't catch two people sucking face) and I trust him he definitely wouldn't. Then she got another of her friends to curse me out and almost smash my face in a fight! All that was done and I didn't cave in. My boyfriend and I (9 almost 10 month!! ;]) are doing so great and I trust him with everything. He repeatedly tells me to not worry about this girl and that I'm the only one for him. I trust him...I don't trust her. She's the type of person who throws herself at every guy who makes eye contact (and my boyfriend of course). My boyfriend and I added out first couple photo on his myspace, she commented it (gasp!) but it was not nasty it was nice. Then she added another comment on my boyfriends month old photo saying " Sexy, I love ____! bfflad!" I was baffles and kind of upset. Now she hits my boyfriends @ss in school and just flirts in general. I'm confused...I've talked to me boyfriend and he told me if she ever goes over the top he'd be like f*** off, he means it truuust me. Breaking up with him is definitely not an option I'm in love with him and he loves me just as much (maybe more we haven't settles that yet lol) But I don't want to seem jealous but I don't want her to walk all over me. If ya get where i'm coming from... Please help!! | | Honestly when i started see reading this and seeing the situation , my first thought was "break up with the boyfriend." But wow. I have changed my mind. He is a great guy! Dont ever let him go! Not even for the world! He is devoted to you and it is so wonderful to see. He needs to tell your ex friend to quit touching him. and all these things that are happening at school arent cool. Teachers need to step in. You both can make it thorough this. I think your ex friend is jealous of you that you found happiness. Im glad that you see she isn't a good person. But its his call to tell her ( your ex friend) that he isn't interested and that she needs to back off,. If she still does it than i would tell the school. Sexual harrasment is what it would be called and that will make her stop. Good lucka and happy almost 10 months. Good luck you both. <3 |
