Do redheads lose their hair color as they get older? A lady once told me that she had red hair for 25 years and i wasn't really exactly sure what she meant by it.
By the way, she still looked pretty young, like in her 30s or early 40s. |
| Everyone starts loosing their hai r color at any point in their life, race or hair color make no difference. |
Any 18 or older female redheads wanna send me a pic? I REPEAT 18 OR OLDER!! |
| probably not. |
Old movie with nanny who is afraid of family of redheads? What is the name of the old movie, where in the first scene the nanny of a wealthy family of redheads is "afraid" of them so to speak and does a hand motion/ritual every time she sees one? The family has many sons and a strict father. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Unfortunately, there are ads in the movie segments.
By the way, the person doing the ritual is their new maid, as Father frightens away the help on a frequent basis. Most maids then were girls who were immigrants from Ireland; so, I'm not sure what an Irish girl found so unnerving about a lot of redheads.
My mother and I make so many references to this movie almost daily! We especially like what we call "Vinnie logic", the wife/mother's interpretation of financial matters. |
Why do redheads get picked on the most? I'm 17 years old, I'm a redhead, and I get picked on for being a redhead.
Why do I always get picked on just for being redhead? |
| because gingers don't have souls |

For natural redheads - Is your body hair that same color? I'm asking because I'm a natural redhead and I've always wondered about others. My hair is red all over. Now that I'm older the redness of the hair on my head is fading, but it's still bright red... down there. |
| Red all over! |
Does henna hair color work for redheads? I have red hair, but as I get older it is getting darker. I'd like to use henna to brighten it up because it doesn't contain chemicals. Does it really work? Any suggestions? |
Yes, henna works on every color of hair. I loved what it has done for my hair. My hair is shinier, stronger, easier to detangle, and it loosened my curls some. Since I have dark brown hair it didn't reallt leave noticeable color, in the sun you can kind if see auburn shimmer.
I have natural African hair but it works on all hair types. It's a natural conditioner and I highly recommend it. And the more you henna the healthier your hair can get. No chemical PPD laden dye can say that. Obviously the color will turn out differently depending on many factors, including the hair color you started with.
1. The henna brand you chose
2. The part of the world the henna was grown in also affects the color of the dye
3. How long you leave in on
4. What things you mixed into your henna
5. If your hair is damaged or healthy to begin with
6. The hair color you started with
All of these affect the color you get. Don't expect a dramatic change if your hair is very dark. Henna cannot lighten hair. It might make it more vibrant but not lighter. Some henna brands are more auburn, some more orangey. And also the color will change for three days afterwards as the henna lawsone migrates and binds with the keratin in your strands. This ebook explains all about henna:
Did you know Lucille Ball used henna for that vibrant red head? Make sure you get body grade henna. This insures there are no chemicals added and what you get is henna and nothing but henna. Beware if the package says "Black henna" or "blond henna". This indicates the package is fake and will be bad for your hair becuase henna only comes in one color--red. You can get cassia which leave will leave a golden color on blond and gray hair and no color on red or brown. You can use indigo if you want black hair but there is no such thing as brown henna or blond henna. Read this ebook on henna:

Why do I always get complimented on my hair my older people, but people my age don't seem to like it? I am a redhead, and I get so many older people that come up to me and tell me how pretty my hair is and in school it seems like guys just want blondes or don't like my hair color at all.
Why is that? |
Red hair is the prettiest I think. People that are from other generations liked different hair. Red hair isn't as common as blonde and brown, so in past decades, people with red hair were more appreciated.
I feel the same way. I don't have red hair, but my hair is really REALLY thick and wavy. I have tried to straighten it, but my hair is too thick to even do that! So my hair is never really the "In" style. But a lot of older people, particularly people around my grandmothers age, always come up to me and tell me how beautiful my hair is.
But your hair is beautiful, and it is a part of your identity as a person, so learn to love it. |
Does anyone no a 30 year old redhead named Casey? She's got a gemini tatoo on her back, a few piercings and a son named Garrett. She's an old friend that was really fun to be around. She used to live in Kansas City. |
| Nope |
What makeup is best for redheads? i look really young and i want to look older. i have natural red hair and blue eyes and pale skin. i already wear black mascara but i don't want to wear black eyeliner cause i know it will look harsh on me. what makeup choices are the best? |
Stick with neutral shades of eyeshadow to look casual yet polished. Light and mid-browns, champages, rich chocolates are best. Neutral and light pinks are also a good choice. For a more dramatic look, plums, greens, and blue shades are my top picks.
Red-brown or dark brown are best for both eyeliner and mascara, though it depends on your shade of red hair. Strawberry blondes should always stick with light browns, but darker redheads can get away with black. |
