| Not really surprised, and quite disappointed that this is so. I was divorced by a British woman 20 years ago. The point that one comment that attracted 61 thumbs-up was a valid one. It is part of modern British culture among women to humiliate men, and yet the men have to put up with it for as long as there is no alternative. The women's groups my former wife belonged to used to gripe about their husbands, boyfriends and men in general, and then work out strategies to divorce, ditch or exclude them from both work and society in the cause of female supremacy. This attitude, even before we get onto hideous "edgy" fashion, makes ugly the women who get sucked into this cultural norm. You then get the extremes, layered semi-bleached hair, sour expression, loud unkind words and laughter, priding themselves after their well-paid jobs, being drunk and sick in the gutter - and I wonder what is it about Katie Price that makes her so admired among women? And those nurses in my own local hospital who needed to be told by the doctors that patients, like other human beings, need to drink water in order to survive. They seem to care more for their career aspirations than they are fit to care for those who cannot care for themselves. Pity their poor guys! I am disappointed because a British woman, who is natural and loving could be one of the wonders of the world, instead of the scourge. I did meet one such back in 1996, and had she been 15 years older then, or me 15 years younger now, I would have been very happy to wed her. But such women are a rarity. Wasn't Prince William lucky to find such a girl at uni, rather than having to scrape around loveless relationships into his thirties before being forced into a bad marriage! My current girlfriend therefore is from the Philippines. She is not young - approaching 50 - yet she has hair below her waist, her body is very well preserved, runs a ballet school, and has the same religion as me.
